Laura Ann Dixon, Ass't Coach

Laura grew up in Irmo, SC swimming for Coach Heath Edwards on Palmetto Aquatics. She earned the Miss Palmetto Award, the team's highest award, four years straight. Throughout her high school career, she earned SCISA state champion titles seven times leading my team with a 2nd place win behind Hammond her junior year. At Ben Lippen, she was awarded Most Outstanding Female Athlete three years in a row. Laura Ann was an active member in South Carolina swimming being the junior and senior athlete reps. She earned the Jennifer Smith award her  senior year of high school. She currently attends Converse College where she has been awarded MVP and has helped led her swim team to several first place finishes. She is a Biology major who is actively involved with the student body as a member of the executive committee and Tri Beta, a national biological honors society. After college she hopes to attend an accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing program, and then one day become a family nurse practitioner.
